I have always been interested in traditional Japanese Art and Architecture and how it has influenced our designs and lifestyles today. The respect to nature and the unique feeling of peace and comfort that Japanese Art releases to me have always captured my attention. The above peace shows a strange abandoned japanese garden. There once has been human control and maintenance with the bridge, terraces, pavillions etc. but once human interference has gone, the natural elements start taking over with overgrown wisterias, shrubs, flowers and moss. This captures a point where human and nuture co-exist but at the tipping point where nature starts to rule over human actions.
